In this project I focused on ideas concerning religion and the divine. I wanted to look at the idea of the headress and glitch it in a way that it subverted your expectations. One difficulty that I had with this project was allowing myself to give over much of the controll to the program doing the glitching. I found that keeping much of the controll over the peices was beneficial in getting my idea across in a more concise and thoughtful way. My favorite peice in this array is the peice of the glitched out woman with the glowing cross. I feel like it is my strongest image here and personally my favorite. The portraits shown are where I belive the voice of this series lies and have already completed complimentary peices to go along in a series with them. Finally I enjoyed the way to glitch gifts and plan on finding another application for such an interesting process in the future.
